Today I am starting a series of posts showing some of the interesting naturally created ice formations found in the area. I’m drawn to the other worldly sculptural shapes and began photographing them as far back as 1980. The series begins with a small and subtle arrangement of ice, stone and driftwood found in early winter on the shores of Lake Muskoka in Gravenhurst Ontario.
