The Muskokabilly restaurant is one of several to be found at the Gravenhurst wharf on Lake Muskoka. I took this photo in early December before the big freeze. Today there is no open water as the waterfront is frozen into a thick sheet of solid ice. The extreme cold we’ve sustained for weeks (minus 30 Fahrenheit last night and no relief in sight) has created lots of good ice this year for the annual pond hockey tournament. The North American Cup “On the Pond” 4-on-4 pond hockey tournament takes place February 9-11, 2018 at the Gravenhurst wharf.
